Hi. Was wondering if there were any conventions, meetups or gatherings near NYC in the near future :s. Haven't been to a convention before but I'd love to meetup and make some new friends.

There are tons of gatherings! You just have to know the right people. They happen more then twice a month! When I find out the next date, I can totally let you know. <3!

Hmm, I know a couple of people, but connection wise for this, I just go to deviantart and look up groups for that or coscom.

NJ cosplayers actually have a FaceBook group for talking and setting up cosplay gatherings. I would think NYC cosplayers would have something similar. If not, that's something to consider.

They do, from what I know of at least. I know there's a page for them on cosplay.com, but I'm sure there's a facebook page for them too.
