Don't do it...

verucassault
Think of all the times your parents or elders scolded you or lectured you about growing up too quickly. It may have even been a small comment about how they wish they could trade shoes with you and go back to a time when they had less responsibilities. Ugh.. were they ever so right.

I don't remember any of that, but I can certainly sympathize. You don't realize what you had until it's gone. So many kids say they can't wait until they move out, but they have no clue about the stress and responsibilities of just taking care of themselves. Enjoy it while you can (That's to the 18 and under crowd.). But, life ain't so bad. Sure, there are times I've had to wonder if I'm even going to make rent or times where all I have to eat is ramen, but at the end of the day I enjoy the fact that I have only myself to rely on. Some day I hope to get married and have a family, but for now I'll enjoy what really amounts to small stresses in life. Life is a grand adventure, either enjoy being the lone warrior or find someone to join your clan(Friends included.).

Pffft...My dad only told me not to worry because it's not going to fall off. Edit: He also told me not to forget names or I might get thrown off like shes a bucking horse.

>He also told me not to forget names or I might get thrown off like shes a bucking horse. That's variation of a Swedish Rodeo. Deliberately whisper the wrong name in her ear and then hold on for dear life.

LOL verucassault. I think every adult has that thought at some point. There is a lot of BS in the world but the freedom of self determination is worth the hassle most of the time =p

Never thought that myself. When I was growing up I wasn't in a big hurry to leave, but looked at it as if there was no going back when I did. Wasn't always easy, lived off of blood donations for a while, but with the ups and downs it's been a good ride so far.
