welp. Just reverted back to windows 7 from 10. I noticed my cpu% utilization was constantly using 100% on 10. After reverting back to 7 my utilization during standby has dropped significantly. also like a good 80% of the games I installed couldnt work even after reinstalling. Looks like they still need to work out some bugs. I was slightly happy with it especially the ability to create new desktops but not worth it if my utilization is so high and I have to do so much work just to get my games to work.

my main issue with Windows 10 is no video driver so I can't do full screen due to over/under scan issues.. also my audio drivers is out of WACK ... My DAC will NOT work on boot up but WORKs after I do one RE-Start ... so ODD since I never had an issue with my DAC on windows 7...

You should try updating your videocard/audio drivers from your manufacturers website. I have an AMD card and I dont have any underscan issues. ---UPDATE for those who care or might help some people---- Originally I installed WIN10 from the upgrade method after being allowed an upgrade and decided to downgrade after noticing 100% utilization from my CPU and almost all my games not working. I really wanted to get windows 10 to work so I decided to look into it and after some research mostly on reddit. It turns out that flashing and updating my BIOS for my Motherboard to the most recent one (albeit from 2012) should theoretically fix my cpu problem. So I decided to flash to the most current BIOS and clean install windows 10 however my computer was no longer booting up. Luckily I realized that I needed to change my bootup option to AHCI since it was in IDE mode after the flash *since I boot from my SSD*. After the bootup my CPU utilization in idle is back to where it was when I was on Windows 7. A good 1-3% in idle. Before I fixed my cpu settings I was pretty freaked out that I couldn't downgrade back to 7 easily since it was no longer an option upon doing a clean install and I would have to reinstall Win 7 from my Windows 7 USB that I saved. But luckily I was able to fix my cpu issue and on top of that my games are working again. JOY!

Issues from software are bound to happen. I wouldn't say its a rip off regardless as it's working fine for a good amount of people. After fixing my problems I think I'll continue to enjoy it.

Up to you if you like Win 8 better. It's your choice.

Dude calm down. It anybody's choice whether or not to upgrade. I did and after a few hiccups and even my reversion back to win 7. I decided to give it another try and we'll see how it goes.
