Windows 10

In case you've been under a rock for the past year ... Windows 10 is OUT I've upgraded both my home PCs While there are some comparability issues... I'll have to say overall it was an improvement over my old windows 7 and windows 8

I'm sticking with Win7 for the time being. Got no reason to make the switch. :P Plus once people have figured out most of the settings, I'll have a nice list to help me disable the features I don't care about, like Cortana and that app nonsense.

Well, windows 8 was just utter garbage.. But at least they figured that out themselves, too. The reason they chose to skip windows 9 was to show how much win 10 is better and different than win 8. But I hardly believe that's the case. I will check it out eventually (we get all OSs for free at uni) but don't really expect much. I'll probably stick with Linux. It's much better for my purposes anyway..

My instructor tried to convince me to upgrade to Windows 10. I'm more comfortable with Windows 8 and may stick with that only for school. After that, I may switch to Linux. •u•

I thought the reason they skipped Windows 9 was because it would cause a bunch of compatibility issues with 95 and 98 programs. Either way, I'm with Half Baked Hikki. I'll be waiting a few months before I really decide if I want to upgrade.

My computer keeps telling me to upgrade to windows 10, why do they keep coming out with new products, upgrades are annoying considering how many times upgrades tend to knock out my entire system. If I get a new computer it can have windows 10 or whatever windows number we are up to that time, just right now it seems so useless to upgrade
