What anime almost turned you off anime?

@janza One time I fell asleep watching something on Netflix and it changed to Magical Modoka after it finished. I had a very strange nightmare.

Magica something .. Its like the only thing on Netflix I haven't seen ... and I can't stand the charater design since its so "moe" ... Not my cup of tea... On an opposite note I much rather have something like Emma ... a anime about a MAID ... a REAL one.

mrzsfo415 -- Puella Magi Madoka Magica? Oh dude, you should totally watch it. Despite the cute character designs it's pretty damn dark. :P Very nice deconstruction of the magical girl genre. Magical girls fighting to prevent the heat death of the universe. <3

@mrzsfo415 What is Emma? What do you mean real maid? Like based off a real person? @hikki I must admit that I didn't give Madoka a chance either. I can't even give a good reason why since I do like moé character designs. I shall give it another shot.
