I want to challenge you

Here's the challenge, name one thing, anything that gives you inspiration, a smile, a reason to live every day or just something that's been positive in your day. For some, it's just waking up and even that is a wonderful thing. I've seen an all to common theme about loneliness on here and I would like to see that change. Generally speaking, the community here is supportive, but there are still many who've spoken up and those who haven't, that suffer. One can not belittle another's pain, because pain is truly subjective. Sometimes something as simple as a smile can truly make a person's day and that's why I'd like to see your positive outlooks and experiences here. Besides, even though this is the Internet, what you say here can truly affect another's day or even life.

That actually sounds pretty damn good. I'm guessing that's not something I'd find on the east coast.

I discovered that today July 25, 2015, that even if my partner of two years and I cannot reconcile, and that there is nothing left to salvage, that I have become an uncle. My sister gave birth to him at 2:30 pm PST. His name is Braiden Ryan McD***** and while...I am scared for my sister at the trials she has ahead of her, I take comfort in knowing she has a partner that loves her. I am still...at a loss for words both in a good and a bad way to this change, being an uncle is just...indicative that one phase of life is certainly over. Yet another is going to begin.

@Testarossa Congrats, man! I've been an uncle for thirteen years and six nephews. That's definitely awesome news, relation ship or not.:)

This will probably be the only child that comes from my side of the family, so my grandmother is getting to be a great grandmother, and my mother is warming up to the reality that she is a grandmother. I'm sitting here in Michigan while its all going on back in California. I'm happy for her, but I feel my lack of attendence is for the best.

Any day riding is a good day. Any day or night I meet up with some of my friends is a good time. @Testarossa, congratulations to your sister and you! Even with the distance you can still be a fine uncle.
