Testarossa's "I'm looking for The One" Thread

I'm not sure where else to put this aside from "Serious Talk" since I really am very serious about this topic and it is my reason for being here. To everyone that doesn't know me yet, I'm Testarossa, I have been called "Testa, Tessa, Taro" for short. I'm 24 years old, and I am looking for that best friend to spend the rest of my life with. On MO I am best known for my long posts that many people TL,DR and that is the kind of person I am. I have very well developed and thought out ideals and values that I try to share with others in hope of it helping them. Who is Testarossa though? I am a homeowner/otaku that lives in the greater metro Detroit area. I moved here two years ago after growing up in the countryside of Northern California. Anime and video games are wonderful hobbies of mine, but I have also been known to love cuddling, long talks into the wee hours of the morning, walking under the stars, and going on misadventures all hours of the night. I am looking for my otaku love in life. Someone that I can experience the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful with. Someone that is in a phase in their life where they know what they want, and they are willing to work themselves to the bone for it. That girl that when I am looking up at the sky line of a city I have never been to before, I can look right next to me and she is looking out at that same sky line with wonder. There are many men and women on here looking for friends, relationships, and just people to share like interests with. I am motivated and looking for someone that is ready to get married, and potentially settle down for the rest of our lives. "you must be new here"-jikoshy 2015 you put it in the relationship section i think :/ but tbh your better off trying your luck and actually talking to people i dont think anyone actually takes these seriously

Perhaps, I'm not new here I've been around off and on for two years. The search function doesn't really assist in finding people as easily as an open post does for helping people read your actual intentions. I am talking with folks plenty though.

i know what you mean tbh there is no point in the search function, and the matches are useless (the only good thing about them is it serves as a reason to add a random person as a friend and get to know them) unless the person is no longer active then you have a bunch of matches of people who havent been on in years

Indeed. So there is no harm in putting my intentions out there, if nothing else it will attract friends through a method other than just random. I much rather like that.
