its actually not, as long as you clean under your foreskin in the shower its no more hygenic when circumcision was invented hygene was an issue, but with everyone owning a shower its obsolete not to mention it takes away sensitivity to the head of the penis, which is meant to be the most sensitive, its 100% not only useless, but detrimental

Wait, is circumcision actually a popular choice? Yikes. Did not know that. Not a fan, and that's before we even get into the ethical issues that crop up. For some reason, I'm under the impression that most circumcisions are performed on people when they're still children. Is this true? If so that's a whole extra dimension of not okay.

im america and middle eastern countries its really popular still unfortunately my nephew was circumcised and yeah, its preformed at the hospital shortly after birth

I will say that I am circumcised since I am 1/2 Filipino. Generally happens around age 10 or so. Mine happened when I was 12 and I will tell you, holy shit does it hurt. But I can say that these are days that my cousins and I will laugh about. Someone will say, "Hey, remember your Tuli?" Everybody will roll their eyes and laugh about that. But there's something about looking the doctor in the eye with a blade in his hand and saying, "Do it." Makes you feel like you passed from boyhood into a man. Gritting your teeth and dealing with it like it was a scrape from falling off a bike.

I remember when this asshole (not for this reason, but) was telling me about the grace of his lord and how god gave men the knowledge that babies shouldn't be circumsized until the third day after they have been born. That they were just miraculously gifted this knowledge. This was the bullshit his Sunday School was feeding him. All the while I was thinking, yeah and also lots of trial and error, error of course being infection, sepsis, and/or death. Think it has more to do with something that isn't immediately produced in an infant body but starts appearing after a couple days. (looking it up)
