Female streamers have a stigma of being compared to slutty or untalented "gamer" girls. So they definitely need to work harder to "Prove" themselves to the viewer when compared to men. BUT they also garner a faster fan base due to their gender and looks.

I will look at it. I'm not saying I am going to debunk anything. I was only commenting on the articles you posted as "proof" that contained no proof and were just commentary pieces. @amrod I agree with Amrod that female streamers are much more likely to get recognition and a fanbase because of their gender, and that in turn puts them at an instant higher level of scrutiny. Male streamers are like a sack of potatoes. A dime a dozen.

my proof is showing a general bias that is all i need to show to connect the two because bias's are systemic the same reason some people wont hire someone with a black sounding name and why blacks are given higher jail sentences on average its because of a systemic problem like its hardly even nuanced

@momoichi There are female streamers treated fairly though. I don't think every female streamer is frowned upon. I do think some female streamers use being good looking and female to their advantage. Nothing weird about admitting this? Its simple logic. If you are young and know a platform has alot of men, you can produce results. I don't think every female streamer is untalented. Some are. However, nothing wrong with using your cleavage to your advantage if you got the cleavage. You're only young once.

some, sure. but others like freeskie or whatever her name is, are being treated stupidly bad for small, dumb shit theyr being dog piled because of the ingrained dislike of 'twitch thots' that's hardly even a controversial take and i agree there's nothing wrong with using their body to get views as long as it is within twitches guide lines, and that's not the issue arc literally called all female twitch streamers unfunny and untalented so they have to show off their tits like the unmasked misogyny is disgusting its the 'women just arent funny' bullshit really a pet peeve of mine because, well, I'm a female as well

I agree @lilyazawa But thats why they get a bad name, because of the untalented ones with cleavage that give people the idea that all girls are bad at games and are only in it for the $$
