Welp, it's time to drop Naruto.

I've always kept track of Naruto, checking in every week to see how my first anime is doing and if it will ever get to the good Madara fights, but I quit now. I was able to grin and bear the fillers while the manga was still ongoing and I could just check up when it would end and binge better shows, but now, even the epilogue is over and we get a half-canon, half-filler episode followed by 3 episodes of flashback filler for like the third time in a row! And this after 6 months of unneccesary filler flashback that nobody cared about. Maybe they are trying to animate the climax as best they can? Of course, that can't be, because the 30 seconds of Guy vs. Madara we got this week was awfully animated. I will cut them some slack this one last time, but f they do this again in a month or the fight is poorly animated, I am finished right now, and even if it is all just fine, I'm done after Guy vs. Madara. My childhood show has turned into a cash grab... Now, I can get back to re-watching Psycho-Pass for the umpteenth time xD

You're probably right. Since it's what first got me into anime, I've been trying to give it a chance, but even when it is canon, it is mediocre at best.

haha XD dropped naruto after the very first episodes of shippuden lmfao naruto in my opinion is one of the worst ninja anime i have ever seen. i'll stick to the anime that barely get the spotlight they are the best

Well, we all know that before Kaguya appears, we are going to have to have more Obito Flashback filler. Seriously, I hate that guy now just because Studio Peirott seems so obsessed with him.

I dropped at episode 170-something of the first anime because the story went nowhere and was incoherent. That was before I knew what a filler episode was. I always considered watching it again, but never doing it. Now I see people talking about it and the Naruto Gaiden chapters and I'm glad I was too lazy to waste my time on Naruto in the long run.
