I just finished the Negima manga and I felt it was a bit lacking and rushed. I feel more could have been done with this series. So I was wonder what the thoughts of the MaiOtaku community were. This thread isn't just limited to the Negima manga, if you have comments about the animes, neo Negima or just the world of Negima in general free feel speak your mind

I liked the original anime but the second anime was not as good in my opinion. It became better the further along it went but it kinda seemed horrible during the first part of it(after watching the original anime previously). I'm looking foward to reading the manga.

I used to watch both series! I thought the whole show's circumstances were great. I never finished either, though. I might go back to watch the whole thing.

I used to follow the manga but I lost interest around volume 20 or so. How far did it end up going?

oh god, neo negima to me is an embarrassment to the negima name. i apologize to any one who like the series, but please note that dislike that series alot so all i say is just based off of my opinion the art work was childish, they messed with the pactio system when it shouldn't have, and the plot was boring. the original manga how ever was kick ass, the ending did seem alittle rushed but to me it was still a good ending to me. although there are a few things i don't think was covered in the manga, like how nagi got the code of the life maker, and when it stated the code of the life maker can be transfered. if any one can point out the chapters for me, that would be great. i just wish the anime covered the entire story line. and i have to say the movie wasn't as good as i expected. i mean contracting with every single one of his students..... thats a bit much for a 10 year old boy.and other parts of the movie didn't really make much sence. cause if every one he made a temporarily pactio with would have their memories erased, shouldn't they exclude some students cuase of their connection with the magic world. i mean asuna is one thing cause of the magic cancel, but then there was mana who was already exposed to the magic world previously, yuna whos mother and father were agents working for mahora thus magic is in yunas blood, then there is chachamaru who is actually born from magic and is the puppet to one of the most badass loli vampire in all of manga, setsuna whos a hanyo, konoka whos like yuna with her entire family associated with magic, can they even erase sayos memory seeing she's a ghost, misora was already contracted with some one from the magic world, chao was already back in her time and zazi was revealed to be a demon.
