What is the 1st anime you watched that turned you into an Otaku??

Hello! Please call me Riho . and i'm currently 21 years old. The first anime was NARUTO!!

my first was prob dragon ball z, but dbz was life so yeah! samurai champloo was next. at the time i ddnt really know anime but watched dbz cuz it was dopesauce, then samurai champloo made me notice it was and all that stuff er whatever, you know what i mean.

My earliest anime that I remember watching was Dragonball, others that I ended up watching when I was young that built up the interest were Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin and outlaw star.

Dunno here. (Yes, I do respond to that.) If I had to pick the first one that made me into an otaku, it would be The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. I saw a few eps of Slayers that a friend had, and asked where he got it. I went there, and they recommended this brand new VHS boxset of Tylor. (DVD wasn't on the radar at this point.) I've not looked back since.

It was a combination of Pokemon, Card Captors and Ninja Cadets. Pokemon was the first anime world to suck me in, Card Captors was the first time I had an anime crush. (I was 10 at the time), and then the first one that really derailed me from mainstream anime was Ninja Cadets. Oh how I wish that was more than just an OVA, It had so much potential. T_T

Hi my name is Shane 19. First anime I watched was the original hellsing series. That's what started it all haha. But date a live was what really got me into the obsession.
