Do you really need your bf/gf to like anime?

Pretty much yeah for me because i cant talk to normal people, but if they have the same interests as me there's so much to talk about and if i had a normal boyfriend they wouldnt cosplay with me and we wouldnt be able to visit anime stores together i think itd be a boring relationship plus im very shy and quiet and i dont like to go out much and regular people like to party and drink and shop for clothes when we could be just sitting at home watching anime and eating food XD

Do they NEED to? No, but it'd be a plus. They DO need to at least be tolerant of the way it's taken over my space. It's part of who I am, and I'm not giving it up.

Need? No...but I find having shared interest is important. I find that you should have some shared interests...but some interests that are not so they can each do their own thing sometimes. (I always find sometimes having a little bit of space is a good and healthy thing)

yeah, don't want to hide that part of me because they think it's werid. had to deal with that in the past wasn't worth it.
