Built this PC January of last year for somewhere in the $900 dollar range (excluding the cost of a case and the fans of course), but I built it with maxing out battlefield 4 in mind and it succeeded. Was originally looking at an AMD card since it was more optimized for battlefield 4 but they started going up in price by the time I started building, this one I have now is technically better than the one I was looking at though. The only thing that's bothering me now is my GPU's video memory for GTA 5, I feel 2gb is a bit restricting. :/ http://i.imgur.com/taKdgee.jpg http://i.imgur.com/XpNowro.jpg

@ ichirai Well near the ocean the screws that hold your water cooling in place start to rust unless you dip them into rust protecting paint. And when they rust that gets into the water reservoire. The algae and gunk you can expect but the part of the rust making it build faster was something I had to learn the hard way. I still don't get why my particular water cooling needs metal screws for its water cover lid -_- oh well bad part on me. @ lynxware your build is nice too. I know intel is a bit more pricey but its a product I trust so I stick with it. As for buying a comp from a dealer is a big nono if you have the knowhow on buildimg your own pc. @ reisudo I have windows 8.1 because most games come for windows unfortunately. My second os is ubuntu (dual boot) ... wish steam had better support on the game area with linux :/

I see a lot of people use G.Skill ram also. @reisudo~ I had a copy of ubuntu on an old hand me down along time ago. I didn't care for the system. Had major issues running games. Im not sure how it is now because that was when it first came out. Had to use a program called "wine" or something to run games and really it sucked. I would play WOW a bit but usually epic failed in the process.

@boundbyluck(Sometimes I end up reading it boundbyfuck XD) I can understand that, that's why I didn't touch topic with that. But even more so by the ocean because of the salty breeze, salt will corrode much worse than normal water. So people reading this: If you are by the ocean, make your metal safe and rust-proof!
