Stop watching anime!

I have stopped watching anime for the most part. I still read a lot of manga, though, because reading the latest chapter of something I like takes a very short time. I think if I maybe had a viewing party, I could stand to watch anime for a few hours, but usually when I'm alone, I get bored quickly. It's probably because I'm not doing anything with my hands when I'm watching a show. That is probably why I like video games and art so much.

lol not a chance in hell they have to many good plot lines that would be like asking me to stop reading or drawing im pritty sure there'd be nothing left but a shriveled shell if there was even that mush left lol

there is a little anime short called "i cant understand what my husband is saying" season 2 is coming out soon and honestly i could see myself in a relationship like the one in the show otaku dude with a somewhat normal partner. honestly if anime is a big part of your life then there shouldnt be any reason to drop it. your partner should understand this as well cause if they really love you they wouldnt try to change who you are unless its really impairing your quality of life. i can see myself watching toonami on the weekends with my kids and taking them to cons if they are into it (they better be into it)

I agree with that. I think that I could never stop watching, even if I wanted to stop I wouldn't be able to because I always have to finish everything I watch. And I have A LOT of unfinished anime just sitting in my watch closet. http://nervsys.net/konata.jpg

I've felt like I am too old for most anime(especially shounen/shoujo) already. However, I feel like no matter what age you are, there's always anime for every age group. It's just harder to find ones that will appeal to you later on. I used to be easily amused by ANY anime, including the generic harem/slice-of-life anime... Now I pretty much am an anime snob and avoid those like the plague... and only watch a very few, like 0-3 anime per season, depending what's out. Also, because I am an artist and love the art style that is anime, I cannot simply "quit" anime, even if I stopped watching anime shows.

Sorry if I'm a little late to the thread but I'm pretty old and I still love anime. I watch a lot to this day.. sometimes I'll go a week or two or three maybe? without but then I'll get right back into it. There are anime geared towards all ages so.. I think if you enjoy it, you shouldn't worry about being too old or any of that nonsense! ^_^

I feel like I'm too old to watch Shounen and should check out Seinens, but I don't know, ever since my best friend introduced me to Bleach I can't let them go. *shrugs*
