Female Otaku Help Required

I could use some help from any female otaku who might be willing. I've seen a topic on the forums here saying that guys just don't know where to look for female otaku and that they're more likely to be on RPing sites or something like that. Can anyone mention any sites where their might be more active female otaku? ( I know there are some here but many aren't active in the forums) I'm looking for female otaku to help me with come up with new cosplays to try. I already have a few idea's but none I'm too thrilled by, partly because I don' know how popular they might be (if they would still be popular I would enjoy them more) and on top of that some of the cosplays would be more popular with female con goers than the males such as Watanuki from XXXholic (which I don't know many guys would watch) and Kuyoya from Host Club which is also more shojo oriented. Hence the reason to try and get more female opinion's on if certain cosplay's would still be popular. Because of course, cosplay's are more fun when you know other's are enjoying it. P.S. I also prefer to cosplay characters who have the same body type as I do as well as either HAVE glasses or would look good with glasses/fanart with glasses etc. which has sort of restricted me in my search for future cosplay's because I'm not for the whole wearing contacts thing.

I am not sure how to confirm the activity of all the active otaku females on here. But usually when there is a thread that says that, they try to clarify and say there are only lesbians or they are no looking for a relationship e.i. There are no female available for men on this so called "dating site," according to the other guys. Soooo.... You want to know who to cosplay as so you can attract women at cons and you want to find other sites that may be a bit more lucrative when it comes to finding a female anime lover? Does that about sum it up? First, you're thinking way to hard when it comes to how to find a woman with the same interests as you. Second, Cosplay because YOU enjoy it. When you are happy and confident, things tend to happen. Happiness tends to be quite contagious and attractive. I may have a penis, but that's my two cents.

Cosplaying is about having fun it does not matter if you look cute trust me on this one just have fun at cons if you even wanna have more fun go to a cosplay ball but don"t be shy be yourself and most of all have fun. If I thought being cute in cosplay would get me chicks yeah lol I would be looking like rainbow dash right now lol j/k
