Heyo! I had to start a new Xbox Live account and I'll be creating a new name soon.
Basically, I'm going to try and 100% every game.
Are there any other completionists out there =')?

SAME
IT FEELS SO GOOD WHEN YOU GET ALL THE TROPHIES/ACHIEVEMENT/ or whatever they use.
But that's the problem, some games have like, A LOT OF THOSE, and not very easy to complete, which requires time
which much of us doesn't have, which makes me sad. which is fun at the same time.

no. I liked it when the game didn't tell you what hidden secrets were available and you had to find them on your own.
Fuck gamerscores and fuck trophies. Took the fun right out of games and made it so that simple minded fucks can now claim to be great gamers based off a fucking number.
You wanna impress me? Beat Breath of Fire 3 in under 10 hours and NOT DIE. Beat Final Fantasy 7 in 3 hours. Beat Star Ocean 2 Cave of Trials withOUT the strategy guide. Beat any Pokemon game with the Nuzlocke Challenge.

Kichigai, I couldn't agree more, even if I am a "simple minded fuck" as you so eloquently put it.

I've actually beaten the original Sapphire on Nuzlocke. I'll admit, I got lucky towards the end but hey.
Personally I don't hate trophies. I thin they're a cool way of rewarding players; but I'm not a trophy hunter. Some games I'll play once and be done with, others I'll play over and over even after way past the 100% completion ratio. That's just not what games are about.

lol. I'm not saying all new gamers are simple-minded fucks, but you got people who validate how much of a gamer you are based on how many gold or platinum trophies you have. It's those people I consider to be simple minded fucks.

Never cared about going all for trophies or getting em for bragging rights, with or without trophies. But I remember beating Fall Out 3 and thinking I wasn't going to touch the game ever again until I saw that I only had 17% done.
At first, I was like, oh just some crazy high score be stuff, nope majority was story content I missed out on, so I ended up doing a few more playthtoughs to squeeze more content out of the game.
So sure, if I did side quests and explored way more, maybe I would've seen all that missed content but with how busy life is, it's pretty cool to have something keep track of what you could be potentially missing out on. Sometimes a 100% feels like I got the most of what I paid for.
