Any real writers here?

Are there any real writers here. No fan fics (no offense).. I'm talking writing over 50 pages, budding novelist, serious writers. It'd be nice if there were, I wanna bounce ideas off someone.

I've been a writer for years - I have a dozen or so unpublished books that I'm still editing as time permits. Do I plan to publish them? Not exactly - most are in need of some serious revisions and most are unfinished. I still have a decent amount of imagery, just a lack of time and motivation.

I write a lot of fanfiction and my own works, I wouldn't put people down for writing fanfiction, you're just assuming fanfiction is all bad writing, which it isn't (I've found a lot of good stuff out there). My own works are all on hold for now (I haven't really planned them through, so inspiration is lacking) until I get my groove back I'll hang around in the fanfiction (I don't need to think about it so much because if you write it someone is bound to read it)

I've written at college level since elementary school. "Real" writing doesn't require a Masters of Fine Arts or publishing deal. You're also talking to serious anime fans who know quite a bit about story structure and character design.

I haven't gotten to writing large stories but you shouldn't put down the fanfictions writers. Because there are a lot of fanfictions that are very, very good and well written. I write fanfictions and poems mostly, and I try and get better with each passing day.

Seriously. I'm not assuming anything. So calm yourself. I'm just looking for a certain writer and I never said anything about fan fic writing being bad. You did. Whether or not fan fic is real or even good writing is none of my concern nor is it my place to say.Seriouly I don't care lol. @Manga_bird don't jump to conclusions without the facts. It only makes you look rude. Anyway, Do what makes you comfortable, I've been the lacking process and I do write short side pieces while in that process so I get where you're coming from. But trust me, you'll get there

I know people who ONLY do fan fics and I'm just not looking for that particular person. So put away your pitch forks. Alright? Peace and love people, peace and love lol
