They arrive at the hospital and doctors get to work on Ulfric. A bullet struck Ulfric near the heart rupturing an artery but passing through. Ulfric has lost a lot of blood. Doctors perform surgery and manage to stop the bleeding and repair the artery as best as they can.

I'm critically injured, most likely I'm not going to make it to the hospital. I'm pretty sure fictional me is like half ghost at this point in the story. edit: I made it to the hospital lol, wouldn't have happened in MA.

It isn't too interesting if the lead character is unharmed. Makes it more reslistic. Sakura x shock

After months of of healing Ulfric regains consciousness. He is unable to communicate or show signs of awareness. Doctors perform an MRI on his brain.

Ulfric is in a vegetative state due to lack of oxygen to the brain from the blood loss. He is placed in a facility for special needs for the remainder of his life.
