Just to end this part questioning me about absinthe. I have European friends, they give me bottles when they visit. Apparently European airlines don't question if the wine is wine. I have been to Europe with them, they got me hooked on it while there. Though I agree its bullshit and disappointing to have a poor selection here in America I do what I can with what's available and I make the real bottles last. Happy with my answer? Had I said the second paragraph in response to jikoshy questioning me, this whole thing could have been avoided. Retrospect, yay.

If you GO to europe, that's a different story all together. If they bring it or ship it here, customs still have to check it and such, and being they have a strict eye on that kind of thing, I can't see many, if any, bottles making it past.

Well I don't know what to tell you. My European friends have bottles with them when they get here and they are the same bottles I see over there. Maybe customs didn't get the memo or don't care, idk, All I know is what's been presented to me.
