Why Are Old People Hilarious?

Its cause they have charisma and speech maxed out. But on a serious note. I know what you mean xD Theres something about them thats sweet and funneh.

Yeah, seeing an old man cry is depressing. & The majority of those elderly folks I've encountered are friendly, funny, and sweet. I gotta be the one to say it though; some old people are just a pain!

I think it's because they don't feel the need to not be themselves anymore, so they can do things to make you laugh without really caring/thinking about it - they don't worry about looking silly. This is why grandparents are awesome.

I love working with the elderly. They've lived their lives and don't feel like they have to impress anyone. Their stories, happy and sad, are amazing to hear, they tell the best jokes, and are very honest about what they think. As manga_bird said, they don't worry about looking silly. At my old salon, we used to have an 87 year old man come in with his son to get his haircut. This old man would come in dressed in his best Western wear, he looked like he came out of an Old West film. This man would hit on every single stylist and every woman that would walk into the shop and the ladies would just flock to him. The one time his son, who was very handsome, tried to hit on a woman in the waiting area, he was shot down almost instantly and the 87 year old swooped in and started hitting on the lady who thought he was so adorable. That man had more game than a guy half his age. He used to make us laugh all the time with jokes and stories of his youth because he didn't want to take life too serious anymore.

^^ Yes, war stories are common occurrences. Also, the job sounds irritating, and, I'm sorry, but your posts are always so funny with that indifferent character in the icon. xD

Hearing my grandparents argue is the funniest thing ever. Old people are so cute.
