Is everyone here socially awkward?

@Loli-Chan Well your around (hopefully) respectable people here. Chat away. Lol. But seriously their are some cool people here.

I can hold my own in 1 on 1 interactions. My shyness doesn't become apparent until I am in a group of people. Whenever I'm in a group I just get too lazy to talk figuring there are enough people flapping their gums around.

That's interesting Arc I'm the complete opposite, I find it much easier to talk in a group as all the attention isn't just on me and I can chip in when I feel I have something worth adding to the conversation, less pressure. One on one I have a way harder time holding a meaningful interaction, multiply that times 10 if it's a girl.

I'm quiet until a certain level of trust is reached.. then I'm pretty outgoing and gregarious. I also have a bad habit of overextending myself to the wrong people. For instance, if I feel a stranger needs a compliment I'll work up the courage to express myself.. sometimes that is taken as too forward or even truly unwanted. I'm the one that gets hurt when they lash back or retreat. I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable around me. Still, the reward for appreciating people is worth it when taken in the right light.
