Is cheating acceptable?

I can't think of a context where cheating is acceptable. But at least if you want to cheat, you should tell you other half and not just pretend nothing happened because that is really sick. If you gotta be mean, be honest about it. What's worse than cheating is learning you've been cheated on for a large amount of time but like, why didn't you tell me you didn't liked me anymore? Communication is the key to every relationship, good or bad.

No. Never. Not at all. If you're not emotionally invested in that person anymore, why bother staying? Just break it off so that you don't hurt them even more. If the two people agree to have an open relationship then that's different. I don't consider that cheating because the other person knows your intent. But if you're sneaking around behind their back... Just know that in the end, shit will come to light and you may lose the respect of that other person.

O.o dang people are still answering my question... For those of you who think "this shouldn't be a question" I had ask it because I remembered I had a GF who openly stated she felt it was acceptable to cheat on someone if things weren't going her way (not enough sex, not enough time spent together, to many arguments ext.)and it was a big debate between us often. Bonus points if you can guess how that relationship ended lol.

Obviously cheating is unacceptable, but "IF" ever i have a girlfriend "AND" she cheats on me, im fine with. I will never break up and regret it in the end, id rather wait till shes the one to leave me. She cheats cuz im not enough or not inlove with me anymore, im fine, just dont forget to move on.

cheating is never acceptable and id never do it. if someone cheats on me i dump them straight out. its painful but they get what they deserve.

@Redd - Do they really? The way I see it cheaters lead a solitary existence of bed hopping and heart stealing with no repercussions but an open door to the next bed/heart. Wish there was a site where you could post someone's name and a bit of proof if they cheated on you so the next person would know in advance. The Cheat Log!

@digitalwolf001 yeah. i believe cheating is morally wrong. i dont care what their mindset is, if what they do hurts people, then what they're doing is wrong. "heart stealing with no repercussions"? lmao. no. cheating hurts people, so it's wrong. also i dont care if people bedhop if that's what they choose to do, as long as they dont commit to a relationship and break it in the process. ps. bedhopping to me a load of bullshit and i would never do it but if thats what people choose to do then whatever.
