Why do u guys think its so hard for us to find our soul mates...?

Because there is no such thing. There are "life partners", however. Soul mates are myths and love is not an instant thing. One must must go through trial, error and hardship to achieve, " unconditional love" love, however, is never true. It leads to lies, deceit, and self pity. Love is a two-sided coin. Soul-mate is just a yearning to fill the gap inside your soul.

So true nobleviolet. Of course, the extension to that is that it is possible to find someone who is communicative enough (and healthy enough) to weather trying times. Probably been said here earlier. I hope you find another avatar picture of yourself to share. It's great to see you smile :)

hm, beside..... i had my perfect soul mate till she committed suicide.... turns out the reason why she was cutting herself was because she was bullied...... she accidently cut an arty and bled to death.... i think this is mostly why bullying has to stop... innocent people r getting hurt and killed....

I'm sorry for your loss, man. I wouldn't give up on having a stable, satisfying relationship. I guess what people are saying here is that truly great couples aren't always in sync or perfect matches for eachother. They do have that rare quality where friendship, communication and mutual attraction wins the day.

Cause there are so many people in the world. I think that there are many people that you can be very compatible with but saying that they're a soulmate is too much. Sometimes I think people also set their standards too high.

Right. I don't think soulmate is a person - more like a status. Your best match in life is never always going to be a soulmate. Situations change. Moods change. People change.

Theoretically your chances of finding your one true soul mate are so small one can say it's nearly non-existent. I had a dream about 5 years ago where a girl I never seen before came to me in a dream claiming she was my soulmate, and would wait for me until I die. Even if it wasn't real, the feeling I got being near her in my dream makes it worth it to be optimistic that sooner or later you will find your soul mate one way or another. I fully believe my soul mate isn't alive. it wasn't her smile, or how she laughed, or what she liked. Her mere presence around me filled me with an indescribable warmth. Damn, I'm going an another tangent.

I understand the soul mate is so like me. I would not have a love relationship with someone who is so like me! We'd all day lazing around and watch anime! lol My soulmate is my best friend! I always say to her mirror image or wrong twin or other half. There is also the question what is meant by a soul mate? What are the expectations and desires? Is different for everyone. If one is willing to compromise with his own desires and requirements? Before I go to think about whether the one who is a soul mate or not is to just be happy and to see what's coming! I think love is a two-edged sword. It can be really nice and hurt like hell. Have patience someone will come where you usually do not expect it! Thats my way of thinking.
