If you want a cut of the pie, you have to fight against natural selection, man. I can relate to you about avoiding relationships. I sometimes come up with excuses to avoid my friends just to have some alone time.

I hear ya. My personal experience varies a bit. I've been overweight and underweight. Metrosexual and grunge. It's not hard to get a date and all the superficial things thereof. It's the "friends and more" that is a rare and elusive. Guess that's the way it should be.

Nothing wrong with just enjoying your life. I guess the real trick for shy guys is to give people the chance to know you without being afraid or overly stressed.
