Would you date an asexual?

I actually kinda got semi-rejected by a girl the other day who said she was asexual. (I didn't know she was when I asked) She said she wouldn't mind hanging out but only as friends because she said she was asexual. That's okay in my book. I could probably go up to a few months into a relationship without sex, but at some point, we'd have to start being more intimate. I couldn't really see myself with anyone long term who had minimal or no desire for intimacy.

Why are so many people asexual these days? Where are all the nymphomaniacs? (Actually, they usually have kids and are married or the younger ones that are still single are either promiscuous and often drug addicts or don't want a relationship or one with a guy around twice their age like me, unless I was rich). I'm still searching for an intelligent nymphomaniac otaku girlfriend who wants a serious relationship. Must love horror movies too and some type of metal/industrial music. I don't mind thick girls as long as not 300+ lbs. I like to be able to engage in physical activities like long walks and such. Workout partner a plus.

Depends on which type of asexual. Someone who was averse to, or turned off by sex probably not. Couldn't really see that working. But someone who's only interested in sex after an emotional connection for example, that could work. Relationships require compromise sure, but It doesn't seem like a good idea if two people are both looking at a different type of relationship.

lol, yeah. I don't get much action ever since I hit my 30s. Problem was that before that it was always the jailbait that wanted me. My last girlfriend was 18 when I was 32, she's demisexual, was always paranoid about getting pregnant and decided she likes girls better.
