Romance is dead?

kichigai913
Romance is gone. Women killed it. You watch these chick flicks and you see the man doing his damn best to impress some random broad. Flowers with chocolate at the job. big teddy bear at the house. waiting in the rain for a date. whatever. Do that shit in real life and she'll get a restraining order on you in a heartbeat. Unless you have her twitter/instagram/facebook, you're fucked. It's extremely rare to romance a woman whom you do not know well. It's easier if she's someone you actually know/acquaintance. other than that, don't bother

I guess I'm in the middle. In don't think it's dead. Just not appreciated as it should.

It's not. At least for me. That cheesy stuff gets to me. More than it should. >_< But I also know where the guy is trying to go. But in my opinion, the guy should work, just a little, to butter me up. I'm not spoiled, I just don't want to be easy. >.< Romance is the prelude to intimacy. Or so it should be. Romance shows you at least care about the other person. And it goes both ways. I've even romanced a guy before. It worked somewhat. Anyways, romance isn't dead, but should be considered more by both parties involved.

Romance isn't dead! It just depends on the type of person you are, and the type of person you're going for. If you want a good relationship, find a person who has the same-- or morals alike to yours--and make sure the relationship is based off of honor, respect, trust, and communication. Find someone adventurous that will challenge you to be a better person for yourself. It exists, but it's rare.

It's not that it's dead but that this generation confuses romance more with lust.

Ah, romance...I knew it at one time. Covering the inside of my car with rose petal, blind folding my then girlfriend, driving down to the river, having a picnic on a blanket next to said river and just "talking" until the moon bathed the both of us....meh... Someday I may resume how I once was, but life tends to make a person a bit jaded after a while.
