Getting locked out of your house/apt

Who here has a funny story about getting locked out of their house or apt? I just did this myself due to going outside for better cellphone reception. It's not the first time I've locked myself out of my apartment but this is by far the most embarrassing time. Well after I realized I was locked out of my own apartment I tried each of the big living room windows to see if I could just crawl through one of them, unfortunately my roomate decided to lock each of them (I always left them unlocked due to locking myself out a few times before) so I was pretty much S.O.L. considering my apartment is on the second story. Luckily I knew my bedroom window was open but the problem was that the only way to access it is via climbing the rinky dink tree right behind it. Mind you it's been raining pretty fervently the past few days so everything is soaked and I have no shoes on. So I walk around the back and through the brush getting my pants and feet soaked, stabbing my foot on a rock and still pushing forward. Finally I reach the tree and start climbing, slipping every step of the way up and nearly falling off a couple of times when I was near my window due to having to use both hands to remove the screen window from 3ft away while I clutched the stump of a branch with my legs for dear life. At this point a kid walks by on the road and kind of walks over and asks me if I was breaking into the place, which is pretty much exactly what I was doing but hard to explain that it's my own apartment while I have a screen in one hand and my body stretched over a gap like a goddam trapeze artist. I tried to explain anyways though, not sure if the kid understood or not but he just kinda watched me in silence as I maneuvered my way back inside (almost slipping and falling yet again) I managed to pull myself up and through to the safety of my bedroom. I was finally clear...or so I thought until I get a knock on my door a minute ago, and it's the kid and his dad. The dad had his phone out and was ready to call the cops hahaha.

Okay I didn't lock myself out of my house/apartment but out of my room. Was on a Disney cruise for my school's senior trip (yes my school did his for seniors) and everybody had roommates. It was very early in the morning and I was in bed. During the night I took off all my clothes aside from my underwear because I didn't want to get too warm. So when I woke up I had to go to the bathroom. Half asleep I got up and walked to the bathroom on the left......only I walked straight to the door to the hallway and opened the door....and walked out and let the door shut behind me.....as the door clicked shut I awoke fully. Fully awake to realize that I walked right passed the bathroom and out the door and then realized that I didn't have my key because it was in my pants pocket. I knocked on the door several, several times but neither of my two roommates woke up and so I was locked out of my room on a (school) Disney cruise very early in the morning wearing nothing but my underwear and I still had to use the bathroom.

Reminds me of the time I woke up in the woods 2 miles from my house with nothing but my boxers on ._. had to ninja my way back to the house using backwoods mostly but there was a big stretch where there was no cover and basically left running down the road at the final stretch using some branches to cover myself.

its not really my story but my friend got locked out of his house cause he would always lock the door before he closed it so the funny thing is he was looking for his house keys cause he got locked out of his car so he was trying to find the keys for the house....which were locked in the car

Helped a friend get back into his apartment and his neighbor thought we were burglers and called the cops. Akward... "Sorry officer I was just breaking into my own apartment..."

Karasu why were you 2miles in the woods in only your boxers lol? I kind of had to do something similar....I had to look across multiple levels of the ship to try and find a bathroom while avoiding anybody seeing me since I was still only in my boxers.....I had to go about 3 levels up just to find the bathroom....then I had to figure out how to get into my room without any cruise guests.....or anyone from my school seeing me (basically) naked....

>.> I got blackout drunk at a party and my friends thought it would be funny to 'prank' me. Drove me about a mile away from the party site, dragged me into the woods and left me there...well they didn't leave me leave me...apparently they were just over the next hill making sure I didn't get eaten by a bear or something hahaha...but yeah I woke up really fucking confused.

I had to be on an early train and had gotten my stuff together when I realized I'd forgotten things and I was like, "Oh damn..." I walk over to my house try to get in and realize one of the things I had forgotten was the keys! I kind of just sighed, said, "Someone will let me in later." and caught the train as planned.
