Yeah, I'm kinda like... the stage manager, I suppose? Something like that. Also I'm like a supplementary guitar tech, drum tech, and roadie depending on what needs to get done. A-kon is pretty big, I don't usually work that one because with my job and school and all I like to be a little bit more local to Houston. The only really big one here is Comicpalooza, which is my memorial weekend from hell :p

Yeah. A-Kon sounds like it'd be a lot of work. I think my friends are crazy to work it! I'm sure you'd be pretty busy if you worked that con not to mention you already have your own job. The fewer days you have to be out, the better.

Last year's shenanigans were good. We scared the local taco bell by driving up at hecka late at night ordering 60 bucks worth of tacos. I walked into the common room of the suite the next morning and saw one of the staff passed out face first in hot sauce packets.

I once went through a McDonald's drive through, and ordered over 400 Chicken McNuggets for me and all of my friends! :D Now that was funny! lol

Despite being a Con Person and Actually Found this Site hehe has been enjoyable :). Joke.. WHY would u rely on this world to help you out? Just look into the real world with real problems. This is why our political rights and other problematic errors are occuring within our government and the system of this world because we have no one controlling it besides the True adults above 50

Ah yes, it's because of conventions and anime that we have social, economic and governmental issues... Brilliant deduction...

I'm actually going to second Yaasshat on this. I don't know what a convention has to do with socioeconomic issues and politics. I understand what you mean. It is a distraction, but so is video games, anime, music, sports, reading fictional books, painting, even smoking pot, drinking, drugs. Everyone needs something to enjoy, even yourself.

Shhh...dun feed duh trollz.... I aready did by mistake. Back to konz... I'm debating about driving to Baltimore and sneaking into Otakon tomorrow when everything is cheap. I miss that con and really shouldve dragged my woman there this year. It's usually pretty big (30,000 +). Hmmm...Maybe i should just sign up to be a gopher next year.
