Death's Playground

Hey everybody, I was getting ready to leave for work this morning when I started thinking up poem lines for no reason and then I started a few that I liked. So I decided to try putting it down and I actually came up with something haha. I know some of you have liked some of my other work that I've posted up here in my "I blame Yu" topic so I thought I might post it here. It's my first one in awhile and I started and finished it in an hour or so, so it might be a little shaky. Its also a little different from my normal ones because where mine usually start dark and transition into a lighter tone this one doesn't really transition. Anyway I hope you like it. Death's Playground In this world where Death abounds And loyalty is naught to be found Do not fear your mother, brother Nor your sister, trust in each other For there are few that one can count To trust back turned to drink from fount In desolate world where all’s held with discount And all have better days to recount For in this world where Death abounds Where thieving and pillaging are constant sounds Naught but a glimmer of hope is to be found In this place called “Death’s Playground”
