What Are Your Most Frustrating Video Game Memories?

All of Breath of Fire 2. It was like if the game was made to be the biggest troll game on snes.

The final boss, and the final chapter for that matter, of Ninja Gaiden II really made me rage the first time I played it through. I'm sure The Master Chief Collection will have me raging at Halo 2 just I did back in high school as well... Also, I fucking hated that ostrich level on The Lion King for SNES when I was a kid.

Most frustrating moment in any game I've ever played? Got to the end of Claire's B scenario in Resident Evil 2, cause, you know, did Leon first. Got to the end, got the very last Mr X fight. Plenty of ammo for all of my weapons. But no herbs, so I kept going down in one or two hits. Possibly the first game I ever rage quit due to having a hard time.

Playing several hours without saving in FFVII and dying. Had to grind some levels again, beat the Shinra mansion boss again, get Vincent in the party again, listen to Bugenhagen's ramblings… oh god :( Also pretty frustrating is the heli-assault activity in Saintrow 2. There's 6 levels and I beat the first five ones with such ease, even a newbie could do it. A wild difficulty spike appear and I retried over 30 times. You have to navigate a helicopter between buildings and shoot cars to protect a van but it's unbelievably hard. You get hit by rockets a second before the enemy actually appear on your screen. Another chopper appear to distract you, when you deal with it, they bought enough time to swarm the van. Sometime you barely scratch a building and you fly across the city and explode. Also the npc you're protecting is constantly telling you you're doing a bad job but fortunately you can turn the voices off. On my last try I was about to succeed but the game crashed. It's like the developers wanted to make it impossible.

Alpha Protocol was a complete disaster for me. Don't get me wrong, I like the game but the bugs and glitches nearly destroy it. I hardly ever use the guns since bullets pass through enemies. Still haven't beaten that bad boy yet.

First thing that comes to mind was when I rented a copy of spyro 3 from a blockbuster video and couldn't play it on my ps1. had some strange error I still don't understand to this day about my system having a gameshark on it or something (which it didn't as far as I know). I took it back to get another copy but that one had the same problem. I wasn't able to play the game till a few years latter when I had a ps2 and happened across a 3 pack collection of the spyro games.

I summoned knight solaire like a million times to beat ornstein and smough in dark souls, but tbe minute i dont use him i beat them -_- same for lord gwyn i dont use him and die repeatedly but i summon solaire and beat him on my first try
