What Are Your Most Frustrating Video Game Memories?

Talk about some of the things that have happened to you in video games that really got your blood boiling or filled you with soul crushing despair :) I'll start: so pretty much everyone hates Gary Oak from Pokemon. I hate him too. You see, once upon a time I was playing Yellow version and made it all the way to Cerulean City in one go to fight Gary before the bridge. So I'm locked in intense mortal combat with Gary, and just barely beat him with a sliver of health on my last Pokemon. My batteries have been a little low for a while, and so I'm trying to skip whatever he's saying as fast as I can to save. I had not saved one single time the whole game. I shut him up, open the menu, scroll down to save, and as I click save the Gameboy finally dies. Everything is gone. He managed to stall me long enough in battle to completely ruin all of my progress, EVEN THOUGH I WON! I now save incessantly at any and every opportunity in basically every game I play now. So there you have it. That's why I hate Gary Oak.

Sonic '06. All of it. Also, the snowboarding sections from Mega Man 8, especially the one in the first Wily stage. I could never get past that part, so I never got to see the end of the game.

Hmmm.... Certain bosses in smt strange journey and devil survivor I don't really have patience with grinding during college time... Ummmm secret bosses normally :x like vanitus sentiment I believe.. Or certain cheap parts in games where they keep spamming bosses at you and u can't heal or change your items/ equipment a @.@

@purbluyelloorange yukixl: I actually had that same problem with Devil Survivor Overclocked. I never finished it, because right at the end there is wave after wave of bosses. Just when I thought I beat the final boss, nope 10 more boss fights. Then another final boss fight. Then fight all the bosses all over again. Then fight the REAL final boss. Wait, maybe there was one more boss I didn't get to see XD I was done after that.

If I were to think of the most challenging.. It would be Battle Blocks Theater. I was stuck on the same level for 3 days!

@kitsunekouta I love how I totally agree on the fact that the game shits bosses at you at the end u_u.... oooo overclocked I am trying to beat it ATM :<.... Like grinding like right now trying to get better demons u.u... I think I heat ouroborous in strange journey after two year of on and off playing then the game does a dick move and throws something harder T_T but u know wut I luv it <3
