Yes but not all drunks do this.. Your putting the hole world of drunks into this classification? That isn't very fair. It's like me blaimg the internet. You can't blame something that is for everyone. You can't just blame drunks all together because then you'd be blaming me too when I drink and I don't go around molesting other people. EVERYONE Has a different reaction when they are drunk and not all them are negative in fact almost all the people I know who get drunk and I KNOW alot of people. Never do anything sexually or assult someone they usually just talk about there problems or even fall asleep, Like I do. I fall asleep when I'm drunk and I don't like to drink often cause of that. But you can't just say everyone who is a drunk is a sick person you'd be calling me a SICK Person and that isn't right. :/ Maybe only the drunks that molest people or assult people are the SICK PEOPLE. But normal people who drink and get drunk and don't do that are not sick people. Get it straight, you can't just bundle up everyone who drinks in the drunk category and blame them for what happened to your girlfriend. I'm sorry but that alone is kind of selfish. Not everyone who drinks is an asshat rapist or molester..I'm just letting you know that. I agree that being drunk all together is kind of stupid and un responsible but if you drink in an atmosphere you know your going to be safe like at home. Then you should be fine, Please don't lump everyone who drinks into your sick person definition because that is just rude.

I just read the rest of the thread, and I'm sorry if I initially appeared nonchalant about the situation (I thought some drunk guys had made a mess in your hallway or something). Your girlfriend's ok, right? I mean physically, like they didn't hurt her or anything?

I'm not blaming ANYONE. Not her not the other guy. I don't even know them so I can't judge. I don't even know what happened and I don't kind of want to get myself involved with this anymore so good luck.

Alcohol-related behavior is a bit of a touchy subject. When someone gets drunk and taken advantage of, it's the fault of the other person. When someone gets drunk and takes advantage of someone, it's their fault. It sounds a lot like a double standard, because a guy can get drunk a say yes but a girl can't. If both parties are drunk, it's still the guy that's at fault. Now I don't disagree with that double standard though. In truth, whoever causes the harm, regardless of which is drunk, is the one to blame and who should be held responsible. Even if they are baited (but shame on anyone doing the baiting!). I've known alcoholics who literally got their hydration from beer alone, and everything they did is entirely on them regardless of being drunk. Alcohol is just an enabler. It just loosens the inhibitions a little for people to do things they would have considered doing anyways a little easier. And at the same time weakens the victims so they can't resist. This is part of why I don't care for alcohol. I feel for you and your girlfriend for having to deal with it. I hope you guys get them behind bars and off the streets before it happens again.

I know this was a vent thread, but I think it covers a quite serious topic that happens a hell of a lot more than people realize. Then there are those who say, she/he put themselves in the situation and got what they deserved... Kind of like saying, she dresses slutty so obviously she wants to be raped. People just need to be more aware and less complacent. Thanks to all...even you, stallina despite my jumping on you a bit...it was still input.
