Anyone play eroge?

How did you like it? Do they tend to be cheesy and predictable? Any recommendations? I've only seen them played by characters in anime series so I've never seen a real one.

I only have, Let's Meow Meow since it was full of animal eared girls. It's a funny little story compared to some of the ones I've seen played by audience members at conventions. Sometimes I think about picking up another to see if they've gotten any better, but you have to play through one at least once just to say you've done it. I'd suggest using a guide unless you want to make a tedious amount of saves at each decision point. My first time through I got the "Bad Ending" X3

I played Shuffle!, Shuffle! Tick Tack!, Dramatical Murder, Silver Chaos and Hadaka Shitsuji ( Warning: the last three are BL games). And I enjoy playing them and they dont seem chessy or bad to me ^^ I would highly recommend you Shuffle! its a really great eroge game with a actual plot in it ^^

I was watching Oreimo last night which is probably the 3rd or 4th anime series I've seen to talk about eroge. It got me curious again, although of course all the eroge in that series tend to be the little sister forbidden love type. But it would be interesting to see all the different generes and types. Unfortunately I don't have a computer at the moment.

Sorry cant help you with the forbidden love type game. Although in Shuffle! theres a loli named Primula, the main protagonist consideres her as his little sister. And you can get "romantic" with her on her route.

Lol, I'm interested in all types. I really won't know what I like till I play some. They remind me of the chose your own adventure books I used to read when I was a kid.
