Thoughts on pot?

I know we have similar threads about drugs in general, etc. But I wanted to make a topic specifically about pot itself. I bet there's more of you here that smoke it, compared to those who don't. That being said, i'll probably get bashed and hated on for this thread. But I don't care if i'm hated by people. But who here is as disgusted by pot as I am? Yes, I said it. It disgusts me. And I don't give a damn about it's "medical uses" So don't bring up the topic in this thread. And if I hear the number "420" one more time? I'm probably going to fucking vomit. I don't know why you people are obsessed with the number, and what it means. But I don't care, so don't explain. The point of this thread is, Who here also hates the very existence of pot itself like I do? I would like to see if i'm not alone here. (But I probably am) If i'm somehow not alone, don't be afraid to speak up. As for those of you who smoke it? Go right ahead, do whatever the hell you want. It's your life after all, I don't care. I'm just trying to see if there's ANYONE out there who DOESN'T and WON'T smoke it. I have friends who smoke pot, so please refrain from making ignorant statements.

Pot stinks. I mean, it really smells. I have friends who I know do pot, and I tell em every day they smell like &#$%. But eh, to each their own.

I don't really like pot. My neighbors smoke it regularly. It makes the neighborhood smell like a skunk sprayed. It disgusts me. I think a lot of people that do pot do it to escape their shitty reality. I won't touch on the medical uses, but I will say quite a few people abuse that they can smoke it legally for medical reasons. Because of the nature of my job, I have to absolutely avoid marijuana. Military = Random drug testing. I've never had the joy of experiencing a random drug test, nor do I ever want to, but this happens frequently in the military. As for people who do it, I don't really care. I've just seen a lot of people I don't like smoke marijuana, so it leaves me with a bad impression of pot smokers.

I just personally never saw the need for drugs or smoking in my life. I tried some of those things back in high school and I just realized that it was pretty much pointless for me because I have so many better outlets to deal with my problems than resort to smoking marijuana. That being said I never really cared if people did it so long as they're mindful of others and don't pressure you into doing those things with them. My friends that are involved are usually really nice about it and definitely keep it to themselves. However, what gets to me is the whole stoner culture and how people actually think it's this cultural movement to be proud of and that's why I find stuff like that obnoxious because no one cares that you smoke.

Ok I will put my view. I did read that I should not discuss medical things but I am not actually for them though. So I would just like to state that for anybody who feels that this drug provides medical help compared to others they should consider the research. On the matter of pot I am not ok with it. The thing about pot is that it is viewed as a natural remedie for certain medical problems. Sure enough you can use pot for medical problems and sometimes it helps if it used in big amounts. That is the problem though for pot to be effective compared to drugs on the market specifically designed for this thing you need to take it with bigger amounts. Until there is full research that undeniably shows that the benefits outweigh the risk and it beats all other medicine for those categories I feel it should not be considered medicine due to the nature in which people support it as a hey its a fun and beneficial drug. Don't smoke pot or don't like it. Never tried it or never will. I just stay away from that crap or other crap. It will kill me probably.

Alright...so what if we just stop smoking it and instead use THC drops or edibles? Would y'all still have an issue with it?
