Alot of satanists at least from what i heard dont actually believe in satan and use satanism as a rebellion against the religious establishment. Which imo is retarded. So you openly worship a biblical figure as a way to reject religion which the figure is from. The figure is spoken of in religion as a way to warn man of the attempts being made to decouple from religion and so you worship the same figure that it warns against as a way to rebel. My thing is what drives people to want to engage in satanism and the occult? Most satanists are simply uneducated in what it is they are actuslly doing. Its the people who do understand that are the most troublesome as they usually have a bigger agenda than the open celebration of satanism.

I don't care for the LaVey Satanism. He was kinda whiny. Temple of Satanism is alright though. They are tolerant and charitable.

Well, well, well, Pandus exposing his negative viewpoint on religion. Not all religions are equal after all. Believe it or not, but Satanism is a religion as well. Calling another religion beliefs retarted, while believing in an invisible man in the sky with no material evidence other than a book that says that it's true because it says that it's true. Now that is peak comedy. Satan, God, Thor or any other fictitious being is no more real than the easter bunny or the flying spaghetti monster. They're all retarted, sorry not sorry.

Lets do some critical thinking here aleph. If i said satanism was based on openly rebelling against religion. Im just gonna say Christianity because lets be real its about Christianity. If satanism is rebelling against Christianity when satan is infact part of Christianity. It is infact retarded to say you dont believe in God or satan of you worship satan who is part of a Christianity. So yes i am exposing negative views because it makes no sense.

I do not like Satanism in all it's forms due to it standing against everything I stand for. It isn't limited to the Christian part of me. Most sects follow the ideas of excess whether it be sex, gluttony or greed. It doesn't have any self restraint to it. To me it is for all intents and purposes designed around a weakness of character.
I mean I respect most religions of the world. Buddhism for example is a rigorous process in order to achieve the desired goal. It does take strength to do that. Satanism on the other hand has weakness built into it's philosophies. Also they use magic, as a barbarian class I cannot condone the actions of mages.

You all are basing your opinion on Lavey Satanism. Which is defunct. His branch was focused on hedonism.
The Satanic temple which is still active and are empathic volunteers primarily. From their site.
"The mission of The Satanic Temple is to encourage benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits."
"We have publicly confronted hate groups, fought for the abolition of corporal punishment in public schools, applied for equal representation when religious installations are placed on public property, provided religious exemption and legal protection against laws that unscientifically restrict people's reproductive autonomy, exposed harmful pseudo-scientific practitioners in mental health care, organized clubs alongside other religious after-school clubs in schools besieged by proselytizing organizations, and engaged in other advocacy in accordance with our tenets."
This will ruffle some feathers but they are a lot closer to the ideal of Christians and Muslims that they preach but are hypocritical about.
