This site is sadly boring.

There is already a site like that. Soulgeek. Anime is a pretty strong enough niche by itself IMO. This site should stay anime centered to fill that specific. I went to Soulgeek and being an anime only niche with all these other billion ones, I became disinterested right away.

I don't think you can say it sucks, I think the people are the ones making it suck. However, the search for people make it near impossible to search for a match. Better search engine, a larger clique of active users, and bam, we have ourselves a nerd dating site!

It was a bit more active three years ago when o first signed up. But it has changed a bit since then... Some things have stayed totally the same >_> lol

Well the website has many flaws but as borsty24 says its the people who making it suck. I try to be active in forum even though its very inactive or welcome the newer members to feel welcome here so they might stay here as well! :)

I have to say there was a southern california meet up a while up, We had two meet up....and The same people showed up for both, everyone always quit at the end. >_> Everyone lack motivation and patience

Yeah, we could blame the developer, I believe he's a one man show. Most of what the OP said is true. Also, there's a basic template that's functional, just very blase. More users help but yes, I don't think mai otaku wants to that sink time, money and effort into making this site evolve or grow. C'est La Vie.

Anyone else notice that they changed the logo. GOOD JOB MAIOTAKU! Still kinda bad though :p But much better.
