Is it wrong to be desperate for a relationship?

I don't think you're doing yourself much of a disservice if you're yearning for a relationship on the inside, but outwardly complaining of not having a bf/gf and constant difficulty in finding one (as mentioned before) is not doing yourself many favors. To be fair, I do it sometimes too, but I try to limit myself when I can and catch myself doing it.

We can have out moments were we can be like "I hate being single" etc etc. Its just doing it alot is the annoying/desperate part. Like Cecil said, limit yourself.

Yes and no. There is nothing wrong with longing for that special someone. However, when you come across as desperate, that becomes less appealing to women. I have seen people who have the most success with relationships are the ones who don't seem to care about them. Your body language betrays what you are really thinking. Try to take a relaxed posture and spread your body out. Plus, if you act like a friend, that's how women will treat you. If you want them to see you as dating material, don't always be there for them.

I don't really think it is wrong to be desperate for a relationship. At least one acknowledged that one wants a relationship, the issue is if one accepts ANY relationship at that point.

(This doesnt count for all girls.) But personally I avoid dating anyone who is desperate / low self esteem. Their attraction becomes 10 times worse... this however doesnt mean I am not insecure myself. I should grow a pair. ( figurally speaking) Likes attract likes and love yourself first. ( this motivates me to work on myself )

Well for me I don't like desperate guys because they always jump the gun too soon in a relationship. Which scares me because I feel like they just want to have a relationship then me? If that make sense? Lol

Anyone who's eager to jump the gun is fishy. For most guys though, they just want to bone something. True story. For girls, they're probably batshit crazy.

I get like that sometimes... I think anyone who isn't in a relationship does... There's something nice about being in a relationship **shrugs** so I don't think it's "wrong" ya just gotta go about it the right way I guess...
