well it's a dramatic comedy about a boy named tomoya okozaki, he's had a rough past and as a result is pretty much bored with life. He meets a girl named nagisa furawakawa then shortly after finds himself helping people he's never met before. Telling you too much about it would spoil the anime, but it's based off of the light novels of the same title and the dating sim the followed after it, they're a few other main female character in the show fuuko ibuki, kotomi ichinose, tomoyo sakigami, and kyou fujibashi. It's a popular anime for a reason, though there is the typical anime BS in it that will confuse you they do make sense of it though
