Ghost @kuharido I was obsessed with Harvest Moon. A boy wanting to marry wasn't too common where I grew up. Always the weird quiet one.

yeah I agree, it really disturbs me to see all the marriage problems and divorces. I try not to judge but I wish more would work out.
Tsunpaper @tsunpaper You're welcome! It's my honest thoughts! With the divorce rate being as high as it is, it sure makes it a bit disheartening these days to feel comfortable with the idea for marriage. You are not alone in what you say.

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I often feel that way too. Not necessarily for marriage but also what I do career wise. I often try to think back to my childhood about what sort of things I wished to pursue since today I often feel like I have no clue. I wonder if our childhood selves could tell straight what we are doing wrong? Hopefully we will find people that do care and enjoy the complex personality that comes with that package. Just need to keep looking I suppose. Even when it feels pointless.
Ghost @kuharido Yeah, keep going is pretty much my motto. I think I remember some things I wanted so going after that. When it comes to marriage maybe I just want a lady to snuggle with.
Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Exactly! With something so simple as a desire as that, you would think it wouldn't be so complicated no? I know I certainly would be happy with that too. I often feel simple human contact like that is forgotten these days. Several studies have shown how important skinship really is.
Ghost @kuharido Yes, I've looked up some of that stuff. I think I want to connect emotionally too. Like talk about feelings I can't put into words.
Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I find that funny, there are so many feelings that we cannot express with words. It is just difficult to express it and you need to connect with someone in order to do it. It is these kinds of complexities that make me so fascinated with proper human relationships. Though at the same time I feel like an alien trying to understand humanity since I tend to be confused with I should react as a human. It is strange. Regardless I agree with you and feel the same. There's gotta be a nice lady for you just waiting to hold your heart my friend. I would happily be on the lookout for you.
Ghost @kuharido A nice thought but I don't want to focus on it too much now. Personally I'd be more interested in finding a good lady. What would you hope she'd be like?
I agree on interactions I always wonder what's the right action for the situation mi try to be less critical on my actions and accept them for the moment.
Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I guess what we would consider the essentials... kind, caring, interested in what you do, generally pleasant to be around, etc... I wonder if we had anything happen to us as children that resulted in us being too aware of how act as people or trying to figure what is the "correct" response? I do agree that it is better to be less critical on actions and just accept them in the moment. Of course all of that is easier said than done. One might say it is best to let the mind go and relax.
Ghost @kuharido Yeah, the meditation ideal. I think we both have a good degree of empathy which helps us make decisions based on how things feel around us.
Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I agree, I believe we do have that empathy. It seems kinda scary to me that there are people who have difficulty empathizing with others. I do understand it is impossible to help everyone but it doesn't mean you can't feel for them. Oh yes, that is true. I often feel like I need to be a crowd pleaser in my day to day life. It ends up being a bad habit of mine to just please everyone around me while not doing anything for myself even when I really need it. I have worked toward doing things for myself more but still I cannot help but just feel around me.
Ghost @kuharido I do find people with little empathy hard to relate to. They usually don't have any interest in symbolism or emotional responses. I'm a major pleaser myself. I will go out of my way to help out people even if i want to say no IF i do say no I just feel and and do it anyway. Hopefully I can get better with that.
Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Symbolism is an interesting thing. In a way I like to connect with other through random symbolism, whether it is cryptic/for fun or out of pure meaningful discussion. To see people not have a response from that sort of thing or like you said not emotional response either, is almost concerning to say the least. Yes, it is the same with me. I have often done things I never would have wished to do all because I would feel guilty not doing it. I wonder what is a good exercise to practice this? Or maybe it is related to not liking saying "no" to people as well?

☠BΣΉΣЯIƬ✴ @beherit The 90s Gamera films were the real deal, but I can see why the original Gamera films were not as popular as Godzilla. They often had a much lower production quality and were geared more for kids while Godzilla was geared more for adults until the the late 60s came around. The original 1954 Godzilla film was a pretty grim film. Can't say the same for any of the Gamera films.
