I would like to see the starry sky on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau someday ;), and I will within two months. Gazing the stars , feeling the cold& thin air in the wilderness when I have altitude sickness seems like an unforgettable experience.

Stargazy Tsunpaper! I feel time is eternal when I see the stars, our ancestors probably saw the same star sky thousands of years ago! Also we are so insignificant compared with universe/宇宙（time and space). In ancient times, we had 钦天监 where the officials studied and analyzed what may happen in the near future by seeing the stars. Constellations are fascinating! Human beings’ imagination.

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I agree. Looking at it really helps to remember how small we are in the grand scheme of things. It seems to be one of the few things that will never change no matter how many other things change in this world we live in.
