Ha ha! At least you didn't give into using a walkthrough for the main story. But there isn't any shame using it for secrets and sidequests. The series is known for putting them in places and time frames that make it hard to notice that you can do them. But yeah, I started off with Phantasia as my first Tales of game. It wasn't until the release of the 3ds port of Abyss that I started to really get into the series.
Last Story was pretty alright from what I played before I got distracted by other games. Yeah I really enjoyed the original Xenoblade Chronicles. Lots to do, lots to explore and while the battle system isn't something to write home about, it's a very good game overall.

Idk, I just got used to it around my friends so it stuck with me. It wasn't until about middle to high school is when I started to really enjoy it lol I do like technical guitar playing. I have specific bands for that like Chon for example
