Look, I'm in a similar situation. Just keep a few things in mind. 1. most people on MO aren't very active, so if you're expecting fast replies, forget it. Remember to check for active members. 2.Don't just send a few messages and wait for replies. You want to be engaging. Actually start conversations instead of 'how are u? one-liners. I remember receiving your invite some time ago, but I haven't seen you being active on the forums at all. You're gonna need to fix that if you want people to know you or even talk to you. Don't take this hard though, I'm sure you already know all of this. Just take the time to put it into practice.
