Xelbraig @gabriel_true I've changed jobs and am now a commercial driver. Been a challenge going through all the hoops to become certified. Other than that I've been well. My father had a heart attack back in February, however he's still with us!

Sobo275 @sobo275 It's good to hear all has been well man! That's pretty scary that your dad had a heart attack, however it's a good thing he made a recovery!

Sobo275 @sobo275 I'm a server and network admin currently for 500 companies currently.

Xelbraig @gabriel_true How's the pay? Is it as lucrative as people say?

Sobo275 @sobo275 Not really unless you climb the corporate ladder. There's some companies that treat their employees well though.

Xelbraig @gabriel_true Ah, I suspected the grass wasn't greener. Trucking is also getting worse with compensation. For all the hiring you see, so much of the industry has become competitive to the point there are drivers making less than 40k a year. Right now I am fortunate to be paid by the hour, however it isn't always easy when my company scales back the hours to rely on 3rd party contractors who are paid by the mile.
