nope, not for what I got. My dad did opp for the more expensive one, though, so it was about 1,700. I could have gotten it for 1,300, but I wouldn't have had direct flights.

About 1400 all together, round trip :) Which honestly isn't that bad in comparison to flights to other countries. I was expecting it to be much higher.

My parents surprised me telling me that I was going to go :) I had applied for a scholarship to go to Japan for the summer but did not get it because I had previously gotten a scholarship to go to Germany for a year (2010/11). My parents then arranged it with my Japanese student from last year to go to her house for part of the summer ^^ I'm so excited~
