Lamby @momoichi why do you dislike kimetsu? did you read the manga or anime? i disliked kimetsu initially as well because i thought the 2d layer on the water (this was before the first season was over) looked shitty, but when i saw the rest of the shot i saw how well it fit and iv never looked back

godspell @godspell I've watched and binged both. I'm tempted to reread it see if I can change my mind somehow

Lamby @momoichi (vague spoilers) it gives me nostalgia from watching inuyasha as a kid. the art in the manga is really cute but extremely expressive. the art in the anime is immaculate and i love that they used thick lines. i loooooove the theme of siblings, and the current arc in the anime gives a really sweet shade of the tadano siblings themselves. genya and sanemi is also a heart wrenching of one sibling bullying the other in an effort to protect them, but regrets it later on. i think its very cleverly done, and muzan is a perfect villain. he became a demon out of crippling fear, and his arrogance was his downfall. his final form is the literal representation of what muzan is at heart. just an immature child. they also arent scared to kill off characters, and the power scaling isnt outrageous. pretty much every character has an interesting and heart wrenching backstory. iv cried multiple times during it. the powers and skills are very interesting, including the idea of breathing to empower you. the only thing i didnt like was the marks on the skin thing when you ascend or whatever. that was kinda meh. otherwise iv never been so engrossed in an anime since my naruto days as a kid, it stands with the manga so well. well, minus the fire dance, it was a disappointing that they used mo-cap instead of animating something gorgeous.
