oK after sleeping and regaining SOME intellect, I realize the issue isn't with my understanding of dressing as a lolita but with my view and understand of women in general. I've always seen women as being or wanting to be strong and independent and wanting to dress child or doll like seems to suggest the opposite.

I don't want to be popular either, I'd prefer to be recognized by people and be successful, is probably be the best way to say it. For example, I'll take my game, I want people to play it, enjoy it, say the story blew their mind, etc. If it makes it wicked big, then so it was meant to be. The same would go for my business. I'd like to be successful and have enough to enjoy what I love to do in life, but by no means am I aiming for being a millionaire. Being loved by few is good and means more in the long run.
