Pirate-san @kyros96 yes and no. ur windows couldnt run properly without the sht that i moved too. that's why i am so hyped about it.

Pirate-san @kyros96 programs, trash data, downloads and any other useless files are accumulated on a different drive, while the main windows system remains on the ssd (for performance), meaning i have more room for games that i can drop onto the ssd (. . for performance :P )

Cutting ties @theghoulieleader Do you know any games that prefer being booted up via SSD? I only know about one and that's mostly due to style of the game I think

Pirate-san @kyros96 any game that has a huge data stream of graphics will be faster on a SSD, games that load small instance maps into the memory are fine on slower drives aswell. but for example Black Deserts world is huge af, and the only loading screen is when u load into the game. that is because as you move, texture is being streamed into the graphics card from your drive. the faster your drive the less lag you will have when moving fast on the map. But even with the SSD i sometimes still have lags due to the stupid games system that loads everything around the player instead of determining in which direction the player moves and concentrating on loading in the texture of that direction first. but that's something the devs have to work on.

Pirate-san @kyros96 if you go to older games,for example let's take Neverwinter or Tera, and lets throw in CS too. there you have certain maps that load in, but you get a loading screen every time you change maps, like entering a door or going to the lobby etc. games like these arent really worth keeping on a SSD as they don't need much texture streaming (cuz everything is loaded in before), Unless you want to spend a little less time in a loading screens.

Pirate-san @kyros96 Archeage is also one of those games with a huge world map where texture streaming is needed. especially there in fact. cuz u can teleport a lot, and everything has to load in somewhere else (and honestly archeage has the longest loading screens i've ever seen in a game <.< )
