Hello there, how's it going? You looks like the kind of person to enjoy discussing anime in depth. I concur with you about solid characters, it makes the story much more believable and enjoyable. Some of my top anime are: 5cm per second, hyouka, Clannad AF, Brotherhood, ookami kodomo. There are more but I like these best. The first is a story about relationships affect by distance (physical, emotional and temporal). Much of the development happens off-screen, but still it's a great movie. Hyouka is a great coming of age story and deals with some issues common to adolescents: insecurity, responsibilities, envy, love etc. We can talk more if you want, I sent you a friend request.

dude season two ep 6 i think it was? (dont wanna spoil cause idk if you saw it) i nearly had a heart attack i was like noooooo. noragami and all the feels i got. nice to meet you btw always good to meet other noragami fans. are there any other shows you like?
