Sorry to hear about your car and that you wont make either con. If you still live up to the NW of Ohio, seen a post on the forum here, sometime next month or december they're doing a mini con at Kalahari, like Colossalcon 9.5 or something if you need something close to hold you over till Jan.

Alrighty. That's a bummer but I guess it can be helped. I saw that NC con advertised at Tsubasacon last weekend and I think that's about a 9 hour drive for me lol so Im passing on that. You have to get a room to enjoy the con. Im going down and coming back that night, but its also just a couple hour drive for me.

yeah the hyat is a 160-180 dollar a night kind of place with 5 star dinning I wonder If they realize what theyve got them selves into hosting a swarn of otaku. I can easily justify paying in excess by reasoning its the only local anime convention, and the only one im attending this year.
